Cambridge Lions 2019 Winter Elite Camp Series

We are happy to announce we have opened registration for series of Elite Skill Camps for players born ('00 -'06). These camps will be designed for specific skill development for all positions throughout the series of camps. The program is being headed by Jackson Yanchus our Sr Varsity Head Coach. As many of you know Jackson brings a wealth of experience and his team of coaches will be able to teach positional specific techniques to the players. Coach Yanchus will be assembling a team of University, High School and Lions Varsity level coaches. We will have a very low Player to Coach ratio which will even further enhance your players ability to learn.

We have broken the camps into two types. One designed for Pass Game Skill (Offense & Defense) the other will be focused on Line play (Offense and Defense). Each camp will be 2hrs on a selected Saturday between 11:30 – 1:30. We appreciate how much time families are spending on their kids sporting events and hope this will lighten the off-season by (1) 2hr focused session of skill development. We also appreciate the cost of minor sports and will be offering the sessions for $50.

All Camps will take place at the Com-Dev Dome.      Please Click here to register on line

Pass Game Skill Camp:

For the Pass Game camp, we have split the players by age. Note below for the 2004’s you may be invited to the Sr Skill camp at no extra charge.

Jr Skill – (’04-’06) – Feb 23rd          Please Click here to register on line

Sr Skill – (’00 – ’03) – Mar 2nd

This Camp will be a must for all QB’s, RB’s, WR’s DB’s & LB’s. They will get not just the typical camp coaching they will receive technical training on how to take their craft to the next level. As players advance in age groups what separates players is the technique and this will be a great opportunity to learn from the top coaches.

Lineman Camp: (’00 – ’06) March 23rd

Line play on the Offensive and Defensive side is often an overlooked position. As all experienced coaches understand this truly is where you win or loose games. This makes skilled lineman very valuable in the game of Canadian Football where technique is of utmost importance. We will assemble some of the areas top Line Coaches. This will give players that take advantage of this camp a head start over those which do not going into the 2019 football season. If you are or if your player is a Lineman this camp is a must.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself or Coach Yanchus
